Halloween Fun

Hey Guys! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. As most of you know, I went home to vote and of course hang with my family:) I usually don't do much for Halloween, usually just bake, but I ended up helping my mom carve her pumpkin and decorate our house with webs! Looks quite spooky;)
Check out my pictures below on my fun-filled, Halloween weekend with the Goti's!
With my lovely mother!
So my mom did the stick-ons, I also helped her with the one second from the left. My brother carved Mario & sister the Haunted Mansion....yea they are a lot more talented than me
I bakes a pumpkin spice cake! Cute baking dish right?!? Buy it at Target!
I also made a Tiramisu :) Recipe Below:
This was my first time attempting to make a Tiramisu and it was successful! I made Bobby Deen's Coconut Tiramisu. It's super simple and I did change it up a bit by dipping the lady fingers in espersso with a hint of amaretto. Absolutely delicious and easy to make!

Can't forget about Snowy! He had a fun helping us out too!
I thought I'd post a fall outfit I put together on Polyvore. It's my Mango favorites! Enjoy!

Military Look

Military Look

Hey Guys! I was inspired by the chilly weather today and went
with the military look. Leather leggings/trousers is one
item everyone must have this season, as well as a jean button
down shirt. I love this look of this military jacket, with the leather
arms, it chic yet has a biker look to it, making your entire outfit
look edgy. Add a pair of studded boots to your look plus a bag with frills and wala!
Also, I may be a little slow on this one, but have you
guys heard of 2020AVE ? Cute clothes and great prices!
Check it out and see what you think! I found numerous items already;)

Welome to Columbia Whole Foods!

I can officially announce that Columbia, SC has a Whole Foods Market. The grand opening was today, so my roommate and I went for packed that their were cops directing traffic. I've never felt so happy...well at least in Columbia haha. You guys are probably thinking why I'm so excited about a new grocery store, but if you came to cola, you'd understand.

I had myself a wonderful salad I made myself and I couldn't resist the bakery section so I snatched an Almond Croissant. The flakiest, sweetest croissant yet :)

More big news: Versace has finally launched their new online site. There are so many pieces great for fall/winter 2012. Definitely make sure to check it out! You can also make a personalized list, which I have already started on. Decide your style by choosing anything from a Red Carpet look to A Weekend Getaway. Have fun with it, there are so many wonderful pieces in the collection.

La La Land Part 2

Okay, so get ready for more food pictures...but don't worry, I have other sightseeing pics as well!

After my meet and greet at E!, I was picked up by one of my good friends Tiffany who I became really close to in Barcelona. I truly never thought I would be reunited so soon with my bcn buddies, but I guess you just never know. I was extremely excited to see her, she is a wonderful person and extremely'll always feel happy around Tiff!
Tiff & I
On the way to her home, we stopped by a tasty little restaurant for a small snack you could say. we both had these delicate Caprese Panini and for dessert, a Nutella with Strawberry & Banana Panini! Yummmmm:)

We had a wonderful Persian dinner with her family, a first for me. It was quite different from the norm with lots of different spice. I definitely enjoyed it and encourage everyone to someday try it.
Persian Dinner

Tiff and I started off our Saturday morning going to the famous Santa Monica Steps...if anyone's seen "The Hills", they exercised on them. First off, I did not expect it to be so long and so steep! It's quite narrow too and there was quite the crowd running up and down, up and down. Both of us made it through three times...I think my heart was about to burst out of my chest...I need to get in shape! One of the guys to us we needed to do one more set, and that way we were for sure not going to be able to walk the next day...either way, I was cripple the next day.

After the steps, we went to Venice Beach and walked alongside, checking out all the small vendors. Everything was so hippie and colorful, kind of wild.

Later on we went to shopping on 3rd Street in Santa Monica. Lots of fav of course ZARA. I seriously am obsessed with Zara...I can never leave the store without having purchased something. It's probably a good thing I don't have that store near me, but at the same time I'm always checking the "new" items online...problemo...oh zara zara....what am I going to do;)

After a fulfilled day, we both went home and decided to cook ourselves dinner. We made Ricotta & Pesto Stuffed Shells & Martha Stewart's Pumpkin-Chocolate Tart.

I have to say, I had an unforgettable weekend
and cannot wait to be back in LA...hopefully
sooner than later! Hope everyone
 is having a wonderful week.
